Michele Bellone is a freelance science writer with a PhD in developmental biology and a keen interest in the relationship between science and narratives. He collaborates with Codice Edizioni as non fiction curator and scientific coordinator of the Rome Science Festival. He teaches science communication at SISSA and at the University of Pavia, and writes about science, fiction and games on the Italian edition of Scientific American. He wrote "Incanto. Storie di draghi, stregoni e scienziati", a book on how science intertwines with fantasy. He is also member of the jury for the Gioco di Ruolo dell'Anno award at Lucca Comics and Games.
