Alessandro Tavecchio, biologist by background, is a member of the Media Relations and Communication Unit of SISSA in Trieste and a teacher at SISSA Master in Science Communication. He has collaborated as a freelance and as Science Writer for VICE and Motherboard, among others, and as Content Manager and Author for the Fondazione Telethon. He was Webmaster, Social Media Manager and Digital Executive for ESOF2020 (the Euroscience Open Forum 2020, Trieste) and for the related Science in The City Festival. He worked for the communication of the Mantova Food & Science Festival and many other science communication festivals and events.
